An Important Shaker Cupboard Over Double Case of Drawers

Signed in two places, "Made by Amos Stewart February 1839."; originally purchased in

the early 1940’s from Sister Sadie Neale of the Mt. Lebanon, NY Shakers.

May have been used in the infirmary as one of the lower drawers is fitted with lettered

compartments, possibly for medicine bottles.
